Mason plant processes over 1,000,000 pounds of EPS this year
Our Mason, Ohio processing plant has processed more than 1,000,000 pounds of EPS so far this year. This is EPS recovered from local commercial and residential drop-offs and from partner collections. The material was baled and prepared for downstream recycling markets.
If you plan to drop off EPS, bring clean, dry foam without contaminants like tape, food residue, or rigid inserts. Use the designated EPS area at 4219 US-42 during posted hours. Add your photo to the draft to show the scale of the operation.

EPS Styrofoam Drop-Off Status and Accepted Materials
Eco Development accepts clean, dry EPS Styrofoam for recycling at our Mason facility. We take packaging foam, block foam, and loose EPS that is free of food, oil, paint, tape, or other contamination. Do not leave items in bags; place loose EPS or separated sheets in the drop-off area.
Drop-off hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The recycling facility is closed on major holidays and for occasional maintenance. If you are bringing a large load, call ahead to 513-770-1614 so we can stage space and minimize wait time.
Please do not drop off mixed plastics, thin-film packing, or foam with contaminants. We reserve the right to refuse loads that do not meet acceptance standards. Add a photo of your clean EPS drop-off at the Add photo control to help customers find the right location and confirm condition before arrival.

Mason plant, 85,000 sq ft commercial recycling and EPS processing
Eco Development's Mason plant is a full-service commercial and industrial recycling facility. The 85,000 square-foot warehouse accepts a broad range of materials from businesses and manufacturers, including common plastics, mixed paper and cardboard, ferrous and nonferrous metals, and production scrap.
The Mason plant also operates an expanded polystyrene, EPS, processing line for drop-off and commercial EPS recycling. We handle EPS packaging, clean food-service EPS, and production foam scrap. Businesses can bring material directly to the Mason plant during regular receiving hours; call the facility for current hours and any temporary closures.

Eco Logistics, on the road
Eco Development provides container pickup and freight logistics for commercial recycling and waste. We collect from warehouses, manufacturers, and large retail sites across the region. Our drivers and trucks are trained to load bulky materials and manage secure transport to our Mason facilities.
We run scheduled routes and on-call pickups. Containers include roll-offs and front-loads. We coordinate with site managers to minimize disruption during production hours and to keep materials moving to processing and resale channels.
